DEFINITION
Mesotherapy is an aesthetic treatment that consists of administering a vitamin cocktail based on hyaluronic acid and active ingredients locally in the form of micro-injections, using fine needles, over the entire face.
This molecule, hyaluronic acid, is naturally present in the body and is responsible for hydrating the dermis. Over the years, the body produces less hyaluronic acid, the dermis gradually dehydrates and the skin becomes slack.
Mesotherapy offers an effective anti-ageing treatment.
AFTER TREATMENT
After the mesotherapy treatment, only some redness may appear. These disappear quickly within a few hours of the mesotherapy treatment.
TREATMENT
During the mesotherapy treatment, Dr Philippe Kestemont, specialist in cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine of the face and neck in Nice will carefully examine the face of his patients in order to determine the needs of each one and thus offer the best results in complete safety.
The injection technique used during mesotherapy treatment is said to be superficial, i.e. its depth is between 0.1 and 2 mm below the dermis. The treatment is local and not very painful.
As an anti-ageing treatment, mesotherapy treats the phenomenon of skin slackening. The tissues are regenerated, the slackened zones are smoothed, the lines of the face, neck and neckline are subtly put back in tension. The dermis is then given a radiant glow and rehydrated. The skin regains all its elasticity, lost until then.
The facial features are rested, nourished and revitalised deeply thanks to mesotherapy.
NUMBER OF SESSIONS
In order to appreciate the moisturizing and toning benefits of the mesotherapy treatment, three sessions spaced about two weeks apart at the practice of Doctor Philippe Kestemont, aesthetic medicine specialist in face and neck repair, based in Nice are recommended.
A session one month later as well as a maintenance mesotherapy session every 3 to 4 months will ensure the best results.
